Resin and Pitch Cleaning Tray

A Cleaning Tray gives the shop one place to wash off resin, pitch, and fine sawdust before they harden on the plate. Solvent sits in the tray instead of on a bench, while brushes reach the gullets, body, and around the bore. On Highveld sites where dry dust builds quickly, that routine helps the blade seat properly against the flange.

Keep the tray near blade changes so dirty blades do not go back into storage with gum on the teeth. Add fresh foam or brush inserts when they stop lifting debris, and mark the tray for the resin cleaner used in your workshop. If your arbor sizes or blade diameters fall outside the standard holders, send details through our contact form.

Workshop checks around the tray

Use the tray with the reference pages under Blades, Kerfs, and Resources when you need to match cleaning habits to the blade in service. Fine-tooth aluminium blades, panel sizing blades, and general rip blades each trap build-up in different places. A quick check after cleaning should cover the bore, plate tension area, and tooth faces before the blade goes back on the saw.

Blade contamination in SA workshops

A precise cutter catalogue without holders is half a story. TrueCut keeps holders visible so workshops do not invent flange habits under pressure. Operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, Sunnyrock 1401.
