Triple-chip edge before polish.

Triple-chip edge before polish. Gallery leaves exist for workshops that want a visual reference before they open a blade path. This is not a moodboard dump. Each frame ties back to a kerf habit or a disc geometry.
Pair this frame with Blades and Kerfs when you are checking a clear sheet edge after the saw. On cast and extruded acrylic, the triple-chip line should look even before flame or buff polish, with no white stress marks running off the corner. Use our contact form if the workshop needs a sharper still for machine setup or operator training.
Check for a consistent satin edge, tiny chip size, and a straight reflection along the cut. A good acrylic edge usually points back to correct tooth geometry, firm sheet support, and feed that is not hanging on the material. If the edge goes milky, inspect blade sharpness, clamping, and whether the protective film is lifting near the cut.
Under workshop dust and overhead LEDs, acrylic often shows more edge haze than it does in a clean product photo. That does not change what matters. Look at corner breakout, heat build-up, and whether the kerf stayed true through the full sheet thickness.

For Johannesburg workshop reference, send the edge type, sheet thickness, and machine setup through our contact form. Include whether you are cutting clear, black, or coloured acrylic, because chip visibility changes a lot between materials.
