Care
A Trim Flush Blade needs three habits to stay accurate: pitch removal, flat storage, and a clear decision on regrind or scrap. Fine adhesive from edging work hardens on the plate faster than sawdust, so inspect the tooth line before the next batch rather than judging by noise alone.
Start with the clamping faces, not the teeth. Resin on the flange can push a trim flush cut off line even when the blade looks sharp, and packed waste beside the brazed tips runs hotter on melamine and wrapped board. Store this blade upright in a sleeve or rack slot so the carbide edges are not knocking against another disc.
On busy panel days, wash off glue haze and fine board dust before the shift ends. Once a month, check bore wear, flange marking, and whether the kerf still matches the machine notes kept at the saw. After load-shedding or generator changeover, let the blade return to ambient temperature before doing close flush work on veneered panels.
Send a Trim Flush Blade for sharpening when the edge has dulled evenly but the teeth remain whole and the body runs true. Retire it if you see chipped carbide, heat tint near the tips, a widened bore, or cut marks that stay after cleaning the arbor faces. Regrind capacity is commonly available through service partners in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, but heavily damaged flush-trim geometry is often not worth recovering.
Mention the state of the tooth line and bore in the contact form, plus any scorch marks on the plate. That makes it easier to point you toward cleaning steps, compatible spacers, or the right replacement route without guesswork. See Holders as well if the blade is being damaged by loose storage or mismatched reducers.
For workshop storage, keep the Trim Flush Blade in a dry rack with each tooth edge separated from steel or masonry surfaces. When a set is going out by courier or air freight, pack the plate between rigid boards, protect the rim with foam, and mark any reducers to the target saw size. Consignments moving through OR Tambo need clear blade identification so inspection staff do not treat the package as unmarked metal parts.

If flush edges begin showing heat marks, feathering, or a slight step, use our contact form and note the machine model, material, and current blade size. Care advice is matched to common South African workshop conditions such as MDF dust and adhesive-heavy board work.
